Organised by the Legal Services Board and Legal Services Consumer Panel, the conference will once again bring together a wide range of people who have a role to play in ensuring legal services work better for those who need them. That includes lawyers, legal services professionals, regulators, academics, students, the judiciary, charities, and advice agencies.

The conference will feature a variety of expert speakers, panel debates, and Q&A sessions centred around:

• Rebuilding public confidence in legal services
• Exploring creative ways to improve access to justice
• Encouraging a fair, healthy, diverse and inclusive legal profession

Hear from thought leaders, experts and people who need legal services and explore how we can work together to create a legal services profession that meets the needs of society, not only today, but in the future too.

Whether you attend in-person or online, this will be your opportunity to share ideas, help generate solutions and network with others across the sector.

Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today. The numerous events, awards, socials and conferences I’ve had the pleasure to attend over the years have been, without exception, top quality and supremely organised. And, thirdly, they consistently exceed and challenge the boundaries of what lawyers might assume a regional Law Society will restrict activities to – from a hugely successful charitable school meals drive to corporate social responsibility and diversity campaigns to being joint architects and coordinators of the region’s unique Bristol+BathLegalTech group, which it has been my privilege to co-chair for the last five years.
