A message from SARSAS to BLS Members

Our wonderful partners at the Bristol Law Society have donated a staggering £8,900 to our (link)Big Give Christmas Challenge. With the match funding, this donation is worth an incredible £17,800 to SARSAS!!

We would like to say a huge thank you to Co-Presidents Edward Thompson and Erin Sawyer for nominating SARSAS as the Bristol Law Society charity partner for 2023. The partnership has had a huge and meaningful impact on SARSAS and the people we support. A heartfelt thanks also goes to the delightful Bristol Law Society Team Helen Read and Clair Ponting for their support and hard work over the last year.

A massive thank you to all the firms who attended the Bristol Law Society Annual Awards and donated so generously to the diamond chocolate box raffle. What a wonderful donation from Titcombe Jewellers whose generosity helped make the raffle such a success.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the business card fundraiser held by Review Solicitors which raised a further £450 which is also being donated to our match funded BigGive Campaign.

Thank you, Bristol Legal Sector, for supporting SARSAS and the work we do to help people affected by sexual violence. It makes a huge difference.

Burges Salmon has been an enthusiastic supporter of BLS for many years. BLS provides a valuable role in uniting and promoting the whole of the legal sector across Bristol to benefit both its members and the city. Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today. The numerous events, awards, socials and conferences I’ve had the pleasure to attend over the years have been, without exception, top quality and supremely organised.
