BLS joins forces with Consortium to launch BD Academy to train the next generation of leaders

Let's be honest, BD is not high on the list of reasons people decide to become lawyers and whilst some people appear to naturally excel at it, others struggle often because they have been given no training or support or just don't really understand what BD is and how to go about it. But like it or not, BD is a key part of the modern lawyers job. We all know that in professional services, 'people buy people' and so by understanding what BD is and what works to make the most of an individuals strengths is key to creating meaningful and successful encounters with potential new clients.

This programme is primarily aimed at the next generation of lawyers to help empower them to undertake BD activities that are successful and enjoyable!

Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today.
