BLS Risk Conference

We were delighted to welcome delegates to our recent risk conference kindly hosted by Womble Bond Dickinson and supported by Howden Insurance Brokers with whom BLS works closely.

With a full afternoon of speakers including a key note update from Juliet Oliver from the SRA, Tim Barr of Womble Bond Dickinson on Claims against lawyers - pushing the boundaries; Colin Taylor of Howden on Management Challenges and PII renewals; James Robins and Susan Periselneris from Womble Bond Dickinson on When things go wrong with clients, conflicts & claims and Elizabeth Rimmer of LawCare on Managing workplace mental health - the risks if you don’t.

The conference was very well attended with many remaining for the early evening networking drinks and nibbles kindly provided by Womble Bond Dickinson with delegates making the most of the sunny evening on their terrace too.

Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today. The numerous events, awards, socials and conferences I’ve had the pleasure to attend over the years have been, without exception, top quality and supremely organised.
