LawTechUK Ecosystem Tracker: An Exciting Insight into The Present and Future of Lawtech

LawtechUK, backed by the Ministry of Justice UK, has just released its Ecosystem Tracker Report, shining a spotlight on the UK's booming lawtech sector. And guess what? The South West is taking centre stage as a thriving hub of legal technology innovation 🎉

“The Bristol + Bath city region is nationally in the top 3 of each legal services and technology clusters. And on this basis, the West of England’s globally leading innovation cluster identifies lawtech as a clear and significant growth opportunity, with the region becoming a hub for legal technology innovation. While availability of funding is pivotal, so are talent, networks and here in Bristol and Bath, we have all of those in abundance in our existing technology and legal clusters.” says Co-Chairs of Bristol+Bath LegalTech (BBLT) Chris Bull and Dagmar Steffens.

With 11 lawtech companies calling this region home, it's clear that the dynamic spirit of UK lawtech is alive and well here. Our region underscores the growth of lawtech, indicating a robust ecosystem that extends across the UK.

Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today. The numerous events, awards, socials and conferences I’ve had the pleasure to attend over the years have been, without exception, top quality and supremely organised.
