Obituary of Jean Lyes (Wife of Past President Jack Lyes)

The Lyes Family are sad to announce the passing of Jean Lyes, wife of Past President of Bristol Law Society, Jack Lyes.

A service will be held at Bristol Memorial Woodlands, Earthcott Green, Nr Thornbury, Bristol, BS35 3TA on 17th May 2023 at 12noon. Arrival from 11am with tea and coffee available in the reception room. The family also invite you to join them for some light refreshments after the service. Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today. The numerous events, awards, socials and conferences I’ve had the pleasure to attend over the years have been, without exception, top quality and supremely organised.
