Osborne Clarke festive fundraising raises money for local causes.

Our CSR team and charity committees have been very busy this December, and we are thrilled to announce that our festive fundraising total is £16,128!

This festive season, we are supporting Magic Breakfast, Feeding Bristol, and Berkshire Women's Aid (BWA) — all local charities nominated and voted for by our offices. Various fundraising activities, including a silent auction, festive quiz, desk lottery, and more, contributed to an incredible £9,128 raised, exceeding our £4k target. This amount was further increased by UK festive signatures and Osborne Clarke's matching scheme.

In addition to fundraising, we provided 700 chocolate boxes to the Bristol Children's Hospital, donated dry goods to Borderlands, and gifted presents to women and children supported by BWA. To find out more please click.

Burges Salmon has been an enthusiastic supporter of BLS for many years. BLS provides a valuable role in uniting and promoting the whole of the legal sector across Bristol to benefit both its members and the city. It facilitates collaboration across the sector to ensure that we can all make a difference. Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today. The numerous events, awards, socials and conferences I’ve had the pleasure to attend over the years have been, without exception, top quality and supremely organised.
