Quiss becomes a sponsor of Bristol Law Society
Quiss, one of the UK’s leading providers of technology services to the UK legal sector has become a key sponsor of Bristol Law Society [BLS], the oldest local law society in the country with a membership in the region of 7000 individuals.
Head of Professional Services at Quiss, Nick Hayne commented: “This agreement comes at a time when we are re-imagining our business and our brand. We are moving away from being a simple IT managed service provider, to support law firms with every aspect of their digital transformation.
“It is an exciting time for Quiss, with another year of record growth built on our ability to be more a trusted adviser to our clients than simply a business that keeps their network healthy and supplies new computers when needed.
“The potential improvements in efficiency and productivity delivered through the appropriate application of new technologies is gaining traction in all sectors, but especially growth-focussed mid-tier law firms in the UK legal sector.
“Bristol Law Society includes representatives from a large number of these law firms and as a sponsor we gain valuable access to them at a range of events, including speaking opportunities, interactive workshops and roundtable events.
“We know these opportunities will allow us time to highlight the benefits of new technologies in the context of the delivery of legal services. And why Quiss is the partner that truly understands the sector, the challenges faced and the benefits offered by the technological solutions we shape for our clients.”
A not-for-profit- organisation, Bristol Law Society provides a comprehensive range of services to its members including an annual programme of networking events, courses and seminars/webinars, along with lobbying and representation on behalf of its members.
Helen Read, Chief Executive of Bristol Law Society said: “This agreement with a technology leader such as Quiss demonstrates the importance we know our members place on new technology and the benefits it can deliver for their firms. It is also gratifying that Quiss recognises the important role local law societies play in shaping the future of member firms.
“New technologies are changing the legal sector and it’s good that our members can interact with the Quiss team to understand what is available now, what is coming down the line and importantly, how digital transformation will impact law firms.
“It’s not all work though and it will be good to meet the Quiss team at the numerous social events we organise throughout the year, including the BLS Annual Awards Dinner on 7th November 2024, the jewel in our events crown.
“We look forward to a fruitful relationship for us both and our members, and for Quiss to become a long-term supporter of Bristol Law Society and its members."
