Thrings retains ‘stand out’ new lawyers from multiple qualification routes
Thrings has welcomed the qualification of four new lawyers across its Bath and London offices.
The latest round of qualifications at the firm, which bolster the Residential Property and Private Client teams, demonstrates Thrings’ longstanding commitment to supporting its staff in pursuing different journeys within the legal profession, with three different routes to qualification having been taken.
Ella Richardson will be the newest Residential Property Solicitor in Bath, having completed a seat of her traineeship with the team, as well as in the firms’ Family and Agricultural Property teams.
Having built her experience in the private, charity, agricultural and commercial real estate sectors, both during her time at Thrings as a trainee and a paralegal, Ella’s wide knowledge is a big benefit as she regularly acts for private individuals in the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold property, including transactions involving unregistered property titles and transfers of part of registered titles.
Also continuing her work in Residential Property as a Solicitor, Charlotte Jones will be based in the London office having cross-qualified as a solicitor after passing her Solicitor Qualification Examinations, following her initial training through the vocational CILEx route.
With extensive experience across both the private and commercial sectors, Charlotte will continue to specialise in high value and complex property transactions, acting for a wide range of clients from first-time buyers to experienced property investors.
In the Bath office, Stacey Mold and Lisa Hodge will continue as part of the firm’s Private Client team, having completed their CILEx qualifications, both becoming Chartered Legal Executives.
Having qualified, Stacey continues to support high net worth clients in the administration of Trusts, including managing accounts and completing tax returns. Lisa, meanwhile, continues her work supporting clients with Wills, Probate and Powers of Attorney.
Alice Altounyan, Partner in the Thrings Residential Property team in Bath, said: “It is fantastic to have Ella return to our team, having proven herself to be such an asset as a trainee. The experience she has acquired during her time in other departments across the firm will be a significant benefit to her work and thus to our clients.”
Jayne Kemsley, Partner in the Thrings Residential Property team in London, said: “Charlotte has been a stand-out addition to the team since she joined us just under two years ago. Her proactivity and desire to always put the client first are two strengths that will set her apart from the alternatives in what is a very competitive field and we are delighted by her recent qualification.”
Penelope Munro, Partner in the Thrings Private Client team, said “Lisa and Stacey have really flourished in their time with us and, through hard work and determination by managing their studies for CILEx qualification alongside the everyday work, they are a wonderful addition to the team and are a credit to the firm.””
Simon Holdsworth, Thrings Managing Partner said: “As a proud supporter of junior members of staff developing their careers through different routes to qualification, it is great to see this latest round of qualifications showcasing such a diverse array of experience. To have not just one, but four fantastic colleagues qualify and remain with the firm is an absolute pleasure and I look forward to seeing them continue to reach their potential.”
